Just as we would when designing for you, it helps to begin with a little background. I have had my interior design business for 17 years, currently in Mitchell, SD and prior to that in Minneapolis, MN. I have also had projects in Colorado, Wisconsin, Iowa and Florida. I practice all areas of residential and commercial interior design including new home construction and remodel planning. I have always loved color, art, architecture, and landscape so design was a natural choice.

By personality I am energetic and assertive, yet an easy-going nature seems to help make design projects less stressful and more enjoyable. One of the first questions people ask is what is my style. Rather than inflict one upon my customers, the fun part of each project is defining a style that truly represents their individual personalities and lifestyles.

Whether your project involves one room or an entire building, as your interior designer, Im here to help in a number of ways: I'll guide you through the process in a step by step manner making it less overwhelming. I'll help you avoid costly mistakes by outlining priorities and advising how to spend money wisely. I'll help you blend differences of style and opinion even being a referee when necessary. I'll help you make the best selections from a multitude of product, finish, furniture, lighting, artwork, rug and accessory resources. I'll connect you with the best contractors and suppliers. I'll help manage the details through out construction and installation to make sure it is completed to your satisfaction.

When consulting with you, I won't keep design tips a secret, you may be involved in the process as much or little as you like helping you learn the details of your personal style making you more confident with purchases and decisions. Most of all, I hope to make design fun and your "dailey" surroundings more you.
